Creating Electronic Stationery
Kappris can overlay an XPS file containing headers and footers at print time. It will also use a clipping region to remove anything that was already in those areas of the original document.
This is useful when there may be headers and footers already in the document but you are printing on to pre-printed headed paper.
To create the XPS file needed for this we will need a Microsoft Word document that is an exact copy of the headed paper with the correct logos and address details in the header and footer.
The same applies for continuation paper if that also has headers or footers.
Method:
Open the Word document and draw a rectangle around the header and footer - click Insert - Shapes - choose the rectangle and then draw a box around the header. Repeat for the footer.

Set the Shape Fill to None and under Shape Outline choose a custom colour as shown below:

The colour must be exactly as above because this is what Kappris recognises as a clipping region.
Set the Weight = 1pt
Check the Shape Effects to make sure Shadow = None.
Save the document
Now create the XPS file - click File - Export and Create PDF/XPS

Save the XPS file.
This can now be attached to a Paper Type in KPMGR
