Working with Unknown Printers
From version 2.3.2.13839 onwards, Kappris is able to use printers even when they don’t have a Printer Profile configured in KPMGR.
The printers in question will function at a basic level with colour, duplex and printing to the default tray only.
To enable this facility, tick the box as below:
Bear in mind that every printer installed in the user’s Windows session will now be available for use with Kappris.
In order to control this list and only show relevant printers, you can use the selection rules to hide the ones that you don’t want to see:
In the example above I have chosen to hide ‘OneNote’ and ‘Fax’ printers but you can adjust to suit your own needs:
