When printing a Publisher file along with at least two other files (EG Word, PDF), the Publisher file fails to print and a Kappris Printing Error is delivered in its place.
The error usually says 'The application closed before printing started' or 'Printing timed out'
This can happen using the Print using Kappris option from Explorer or printing attachments in Outlook.
This error has only been seen in Windows 10.
Inside Publisher, go to File | Options | Advanced and untick the Use XPS-enhanced print path checkbox.
