Using Special Features (stapling, hole-punching etc)

Overview

Many of your printers may be capable of offering features way beyond colour and duplex printing. You may have stapling, hole-punching, booklet printing, perhaps even binding.

The rule with Kappris is: "if you can tell the printer to do it via its preferences or properties, you can tell Kappris how to do it too".

In other words, if you can tell your printer to do it, then Kappris can tell your printer to do it.

Let's get Booklet printing (for example) working.

We'll need to do the following:

• Create a Booklet spe cial feature option
• Create a print mode that uses the Booklet option
• Tell Kappris how to turn on Booklet printing for printers that support it
• Review the print mode
